Adesilex P9

Adesilex P9 is a water - and frost-resistant cementitious adhesive, available in white or grey, formulated with carefully selected aggregates, synthetic resins, and special additives developed in MAPEI's research laboratories.

Properties:

• Easy to mix and apply.
• Reduced slip, allowing tile installation from top to bottom without slippage.
• Extended open time, enabling the adhesive to cover larger areas, reducing installation time.
• High initial adhesion and resistance to intensive use.

Applications:

Adesilex P9 is designed for thin-layer bonding of ceramic tiles (glazed tiles, terracotta, porcelain stoneware, clinker, earthenware, cotto tiles, ceramic mosaics) and stone and concrete tiles (as long as they are moisture-resistant). Suitable for both interior and exterior applications on vertical and horizontal surfaces, it is especially recommended for small- and medium-format tiles on substrates subject to heavy use and adverse weather conditions, such as staircases, commercial spaces, underfloor heating, balconies and terraces.

It is also suitable for bonding insulating materials, such as polystyrene panels, mineral and glass wool, Eraclit, and soundproofing boards. The white version of Adesilex P9 is particularly suitable for applications requiring high aesthetic standards or the use of light-colored materials.

Consumption:

• 2 - 5 kg/m² depending on tile size and substrate conditions.
