Sperrmortel Fix

KOESTER Sperrmortel Fix is a fast-setting, waterproof mortar used for making chamfers, repairs, and fillings. It is characterized by slight swelling. This mortar is ideal for leveling uneven surfaces or filling joints before applying bituminous insulation, including in areas exposed to water pressure.

The mortar is also used for creating waterproof profiles (chamfers) at the junction of walls and foundations before applying bituminous insulation (Bikuthan 2K i Deuxan 2K) l or before sealing with KOESTER NB 1 micro-mortar. Additionally, it is used for the base of foundations under machinery and for filling gaps, as well as larger joints.

Substrate:

The substrate must be clean, strong, and load-bearing, free from oil or grease stains. The mortar can be applied to all mineral-based surfaces. Initially, the surface should be moistened to a damp, matte state before applying the mortar. Then, before creating chamfers in foundation areas, KOESTER NB 1 micro-mortar should be applied (consumption: approx. 3-4 kg/m²).

Consumption:

• Approximately 1.8 kg/l of free space
• Approximately 2-2.5 kg/linear meter for chamfer profiles

Cleaning Tools:

Clean tools immediately after use with water.
