Pecimor 2k - Waterproofing

PECIMOR 2K is a thick-layer bituminous waterproofing compound that provides high resistance to water penetration. It is recommended for waterproofing basements, foundations, and structural terrace slabs. It creates a thick coating that protects against both ground moisture and water exerting pressure on building elements.

Application:

• For sealing building elements against:
  • Ground moisture and non-pressurized infiltration water on foundation slabs and walls
  • Water without hydrostatic pressure on slab surfaces and moderately loaded surfaces
  • Pressurized infiltration water
  • Hydrostatic pressure water
• Ideal for protecting building components against aggressive water for concrete
• Suitable for bonding rigid foam insulation boards (perimeter insulation)
• For external sealing of linear joints and construction gaps (up to 0.25 mm wide) in concrete building elements against ground moisture, non-pressurized water, occasionally accumulating water, as well as pressurized water up to 3 meters of water column height. Can also be used in areas with fluctuating groundwater levels.
• Excellent for protection against radon infiltration.

Priming:

Priming dry and slightly damp masonry or plaster:

• Prime the substrate with PCI Pecimor F, diluted with water at a 1:5 ratio, and allow it to dry.

Priming concrete:

• Mix PCI Pecimor-Betongrund in a clean container with 9 liters of water and apply to the prepared substrate in a single working cycle, using a brush or spray device. Within approximately 20 minutes, apply the first layer of PCI Pecimor 2K using the “wet-on-wet” method, with a wet layer thickness of about 2mm.

Consumption:

The consumption is approximately 1.0 L/m² per mm of wet layer thickness. The layer thickness should not exceed more than 50% of the specified values.

Dry layer thickness ≥ 3 mm -> consumption approx. 4 L/m² -> coverage per package approx. 7.5 m²
