KOESTER NB Elastik Grey

KOESTER NB Elastik Grey is a waterproof, flexible, abrasion-resistant sealing mortar with excellent adhesion to all mineral substrates. It covers cracks up to 2 mm wide. The mortar is resistant to harmful substances for concrete, such as diluted acids and alkalis. It is also UV-resistant. The material provides a watertight seal under pressure when applied with a layer thickness of ≥ 2.5 mm. This sealing mortar offers excellent protection against carbonation. The product complies with PN EN 14891:2012.

Applications

• Waterproofing under ceramic tile coverings
• For use both indoors and outdoors (terraces, balconies, swimming pools, wet rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms, sanitary rooms)
• Waterproofing of concrete tanks
• Protective coatings for water and sewage facilities (requires consultation with KOESTER POLSKA's technical department to determine the aggressive factors the coating will be exposed to)
• Suitable for use as waterproofing on parts of buildings in contact with the ground
• Sealing of construction joints exposed to water pressure in structures made with waterproof concrete technology
• For creating waterproof, flexible seals on mechanically loaded surfaces prone to cracking

NB Elastik can also be used in a system as a ceramic tile adhesive (after applying the waterproofing layer with a thickness ≥ 2 mm).
