Substrate Preparation:

Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of loose particles, grease, or other contaminants. Concrete surfaces should be mechanically treated (e.g., sandblasting) for optimal adhesion. For very smooth concrete surfaces, light surface roughening is recommended before applying the resin.

Applications:

• Priming: MC-DUR TopSpeed SC as a primer for mineral substrates under polyurethane and epoxy coatings.
• Patching: Filling cracks and voids, closing open pores.
• Resin Mortar: Creating repair mortars for damaged surfaces.
• Surface Protection Systems OS8: Compatible with DAfStb Rili SIB 2001, DIN EN 1504-2, and DIN V 18026 standards.

Application Process:

• Priming: Apply MC-DUR TopSpeed SC using a rubber squeegee or roller. Curing time ranges from 2 to 12 hours. If exceeding a 12-hour interval, lightly sprinkle the surface with dried quartz sand.
• Filling: Apply a mix of MC-DUR TopSpeed SC resin and quartz sand using a steel trowel, rake, or rubber squeegee. If needed, sprinkle fresh filler with dried quartz sand.
• Resin Mortar: Apply fresh MC-DUR TopSpeed SC as a bonding layer, then use a resin mortar mixed at a 1:8 ratio with quartz sand.
