KOESTER Wasserstop

KOESTER Wasserstop is a fast-setting mortar for sealing and repairs. The mixture expands, creating a strong bond between the mortar and the substrate. This product allows for quick and easy sealing of water leaks, including those under pressure.

Applications of KOESTER Wasserstop:

• Used for quickly sealing leaks and voids in masonry, concrete, and natural stone substrates
• Suitable for creating waterproof chamfers and fillets exposed to water pressure
• Sealing grooves and cracks, as well as cable and pipe penetrations through walls
• Used for repairing leaky pipe joints, including those under water pressure

Technical Data:

• Fresh mortar density: 1.9 kg/l
• Compressive strength (after 24 hours): > 4 N/mm²
• Compressive strength (after 7 days): > 7 N/mm²
• Bending strength (after 7 days): > 2 N/mm²
• Reaction start: approx. 30 seconds
• Application of subsequent layers: approx. 3 hours
• Expansion: approx. 0.5 vol.%

Consumption of KOESTER Wasserstop:

• Approx. 2 kg/l of void

Fast-setting Mortars for Sealing Leaks

These are emergency products for sudden leaks in basement walls and can also be applied to wet surfaces. They can withstand even high water pressure with a high hydrostatic head. They set in approximately 30 seconds and can be applied by hand while wearing rubber gloves.
