Hydrostop 209

 

Hydrostop 209 is a professional mixture used for applying thin sealing layers to concrete and reinforced concrete structures to protect them against water with aggressiveness up to XA2. The product is used to seal water tanks, sewage treatment plants, pumping stations for domestic sewage, septic tanks, swimming pools, underground parts of buildings (basements, shelters, and underground garages), tunnels, manholes, installation chambers, and wet rooms such as baths.

Sealing concrete and reinforced concrete elements involves covering them with a thin layer of this product, which causes crystallization inside the concrete. This method provides much more effective insulation compared to bituminous and bentonite layers. It seals foundation slabs, footings, monolithic walls, and reinforced floors. It can be used both during the construction phase and for existing buildings from the inside, without the need for excavation. This product is used in residential, industrial, and public utility construction, both inside and outside the structure.

In some countries, the product is certified for use in contact with drinking water. For masonry walls, prefabricated ceilings, and expansion joints, other Hydrostop products should be used.
