Bostik H785 HighTack

Bostik H785 HighTack combines the benefits of tape and reactive adhesive systems. During bonding, Bostik H785 exhibits high initial tack and internal strength, allowing work to be done without additional temporary support. Bonded components can be adjusted or immediately detached. Upon drying, it vulcanizes under the influence of atmospheric moisture, forming a permanently elastic and very strong adhesive.

Using Bostik H785:

For use as an adhesive, apply in parallel, vertical strips at small intervals (10-20 cm, depending on the size of the elements being bonded). Do not apply in dots. Support heavy elements or otherwise secure them from moving until initial curing is achieved. For this, you may use a double-sided tape 3 mm thick, which will also ensure the correct thickness of the adhesive joint and ventilation between the bonded surfaces. For sealing, apply the sealant slowly, filling the entire cross-section of the gap to avoid entrapping air. Profile the sealant surface with a spatula and smooth it within 10 minutes of application. The curing rate depends on ambient temperature and humidity. Higher temperatures and humidity levels accelerate the polymerization process. The curing time also depends on the joint size. Ensure effective ventilation until the joint is fully cured. Joint Size:

• The depth of the joint should always be in proportion to its width. For a joint width up to 10 mm, this ratio should be 1:1 (minimum width and depth of the joint are 5 mm). For joints wider than 10 mm, the depth [mm] = (width [mm] / 3) + 6 mm.

Shelf life:

• 18 months at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C
