Description
RESITRIX FG40 is a highly effective primer designed to prepare surfaces for the application of self-adhesive EPDM membranes in sealing systems. This product is essential for direct adhesion to a variety of substrates, such as unlaminated EPS polystyrene boards, without additional bituminous coatings. FG40 enhances adhesion and ensures the long-term durability of the overall waterproofing system.

APPLICATION

Resitrix FG40 primer is ideal for full-surface priming of substrates before the installation of EPDM membranes on roofing surfaces. It is compatible with metals, bituminous construction materials, wood, concrete compounds, and certain types of plastics and insulation materials. This product is not suitable for use with PVC materials.

Application Instructions

The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of grease. Before use, the primer should be thoroughly mixed for at least 30 seconds. Apply Resitrix FG40 in a single coat using spray equipment to ensure even coverage. The product should be applied at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. The drying time depends on weather conditions and is approximately 40 minutes.
