RESITRIX FG 35

Resitrix FG 35 is a solvent-based primer made from synthetic rubber and resins. It is used to prepare substrates before the installation of RESITRIX self-adhesive EPDM insulation membranes on various types of surfaces, such as uncoated metal, plastics, wood materials, insulation, and bituminous materials. The product contains no chlorinated solvents and is environmentally friendly.

Applications of FG 35:

Resitrix FG 35 is used to prime surfaces before installing RESITRIX self-adhesive insulation membranes on various substrates, such as uncoated metal, plastics, wood materials, insulation, and bituminous materials. It can also be used to prime surfaces before applying self-adhesive aluminum vapor barrier membranes on bituminous, wood, and solid materials. For other applications, it is recommended to consult the technical department.

Application Instructions:

Before use, the substrate should be dry, clean, unfrozen, and free from dust and grease. The primer should be thoroughly mixed before use and should not be diluted. Apply FG 35 in a thin, even layer on one side, depending on the specific application – either over the entire surface or in spots, using a roller, brush, or spray applicator. For metal substrates, degreasing with Reiniger G 500 is required before application. Also, remove any loose paint remnants and possible corrosion.

Consumption:

• The consumption of Resitrix FG 35 is approximately 300 g/m² when applied to the entire surface.
