Delta FLORAXX TOP is a diffusion-open drainage and water retention mat with an integrated geotextile filter layer, designed for use in both conventional and inverted green roof systems. It efficiently combines surface drainage and water storage, making it ideal for sustainable rooftop vegetation solutions.

• High Compression Strength: 80% greater durability compared to mats without reinforcement.
• Integrated Geotextile Filter: Allows direct placement of plant substrate without additional filter layers.
• Effective Drainage: Excess water drains efficiently (up to 8.7 l/m²) through perforations.
• Root Protection: Prevents root decay and ensures healthy plant growth.
• Breathable: Vapour-permeable, ensuring a balanced environment for roof insulation.
• Chemical and Weather Resistant: Does not decompose in soil and is safe for potable water.

Applications:

• Protective, drainage, and water-retaining layer for extensive and intensive flat green roofs.
• Suitable for inverted roofs, providing thermal insulation protection and enabling direct substrate application.
• Ideal for green roofs, terraces, or gravel-covered surfaces.

Usage:

• For green roofs: Install the mat (cups facing downward) over protective fleece and waterproofing. Apply plant substrate directly on the mat.
• For inverted roofs: Place on a diffusion-separation layer (e.g., DELTA®-VENT RR) with cups facing insulation. Apply substrate, gravel, or other fill directly.
