Application

Calsilit F is a premium-quality topcoat paint based on potassium water glass, specifically designed for mineral surfaces such as concrete, traditional lime, lime-cement, cement plasters, and thin-layer mineral and silicate renders. Ideal for initial painting of mineral substrates and damp-prone areas on both modern and historic buildings, it forms a completely breathable, vapor-permeable coating that allows moisture to evaporate freely from walls. At the same time, hydrophobic agents effectively protect facades from rain and moisture.

Before applying the paint, the substrate must be primed with Calsilit GF. Note: Due to its mineral characteristics, this product is not recommended for gypsum-based substrates (e.g., decorative moldings).

Coverage:

• Approx. 0.33 L/m² (for two coats on a smooth surface).
