Ardatape 100 Spezial – Self-Adhesive Butyl Sealing Tape

Ardatape 100 Spezial by Bostik is a self-adhesive sealing tape made from innovative butyl rubber. It offers exceptional flexibility, resistance to aging, and weather durability, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Applications:

This permanently plastic, crack-resistant tape reinforced with fleece is designed for sealing movable joints on floors and walls, such as wall-to-floor connections and corners, under ceramic tiles and natural stone. Paired with Ardatec 1K Flex, Ardatec 2K Flex, or Ardatec Flexdicht, it creates a water- and moisture-proof base for areas like:

• Showers and bathrooms
• Sanitary rooms
• Balconies and terraces
• Pools

Surface Preparation:

The substrate must be solid, dry, clean, and free from contaminants or anti-adhesion agents. It should be slightly porous, free of gravel nests, cracks, or folds.

Usage Instructions:

1. Cut the tape to the required length and remove the protective film.
2. Apply to the substrate, ensuring no folds or air bubbles.
3. Immediately cover the tape with Ardatec 1K Flex, Ardatec 2K Flex, or Ardatec Flexdicht.
4. Once the sealant dries, tiles or coverings can be installed.
