A975 - PREMIUM PAINTABLE Acrylic Sealant

The A975 by Bostik is a unique acrylic sealant ideally suited for filling gaps, joints, cracks, and similar connections in walls and ceilings (concrete, plasters, gypsum, smooth finishes, putties, wood). It is designed for painting with water-based and synthetic paints, developed in collaboration with paint manufacturers to ensure a comfortable and effective painting of acrylic joints without cracks or discoloration. The product can also be used for sealing corners and joints in drywall, finishing strips, suspended ceilings, windowsills, built-in wardrobes, stair constructions, window and door frames, skirting boards, moldings, coffers, and rosettes.

TYPES OF CONSTRUCTION ACRYLICS:

Plaster Acrylics

These sealants are ideal for sealing joints between plaster and various screeds or floors. They contain a high amount of fine pebbles as filler, making the joint treatment less visible on the plastered surface.

Paintable Acrylics

Paintable acrylics are used to fill cracks and crevices on walls intended for painting. Due to their special properties, they do not cause discoloration on the painted surface, and the repaired areas are invisible after painting.

Fast-Setting Acrylics

Fast-setting acrylics are a new development in construction chemistry, known for their rapid curing properties. They can be painted or primed just 20 minutes after application and can be sanded once fully cured.

Fire-Retardant Acrylics

Fire-retardant acrylics are excellent for sealing joints in constructions made with gypsum plasterboards, especially useful in finishing usable attic spaces where materials with enhanced fire resistance are required. These acrylics withstand high temperatures and offer increased resistance to fire.
