A gypsum plasterboard is a construction material made of multiple layers of gypsum encased in cardboard.
GKF Plasterboard Dimensions
- Width: 600 mm or 1200 mm
- Length: 2000 mm to 4000 mm
Gypsum boards can be cut to size, making them adaptable to the room's dimensions, project requirements, and owner’s preferences.
Sheets are cut with specialized knives and mounted using screws onto pre-prepared metal or wooden structures.
Alternatively, they can be glued onto masonry or poured concrete walls, depending on the intended function and construction possibilities of the space.
Fire-Resistant GKF (Type F) Gypsum Board
GKF (Type F) plasterboard is fire-resistant, reinforced with fiberglass for enhanced heat resistance.
Ideal for fire-rated protective cladding on structural elements.
Commonly used in attics and fireproof partitions.
Requires humidity levels below 70% for proper performance.
Standard thickness: 12.5 mm.
This type of gypsum board ensures increased fire resistance, making it an essential safety feature in high-risk areas.
