Kerabond T is a powdered adhesive mortar based on cement, fine-grained aggregates, and synthetic resins. Easy to apply, it offers high adhesion and prevents tile slippage on vertical surfaces. It is ideal for bonding ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, and natural stone, as well as spot-mounting insulating materials like polystyrene or mineral wool. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications on stable, absorbent substrates. When mixed with Isolastic, it meets the requirements of class C2ES2. Consumption ranges from 2 to 4 kg/m² depending on tile size and application.

Properties:
Kerabond T is a powdered adhesive mortar available in gray or white, composed of cement, fine-grained aggregates, synthetic resins, and special additives developed in MAPEI's research laboratories. When mixed with water, it becomes an adhesive mortar that is easy to apply, with high adhesion, and can be used on vertical surfaces without tile slippage. It dries without shrinkage, achieving good strength and adhesion to substrates. When mixed with Isolastic instead of water, its technical properties are enhanced, meeting the requirements for class C2ES2 (improved, highly deformable cementitious adhesives) according to EN 12004 standards.
Applications:
- For bonding ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, and moisture-resistant natural stone indoors and outdoors on floors, walls, and ceilings, provided the substrate is stable, load-bearing, and absorbent.
- Suitable for spot-bonding insulating materials such as polystyrene panels, mineral wool and glass wool boards, soundproofing panels, etc.
Consumption:
- Mosaic and small tile formats: 2–3 kg/m²
- Standard tile formats: 2.5–3 kg/m²
- Large tiles and exterior tiles: 4 kg/m²
- Spot-bonding insulating materials:
- Foams, etc.: approx. 0.5–0.8 kg/m²
- Gypsum boards and aerated concrete: approx. 1.5 kg/m²
