Fast-Setting, Self-Leveling Compound for High-Traffic Areas

Bostik SL C980 XPS is a fast-setting, single-component self-leveling compound designed for use in areas exposed to heavy traffic. It allows for quick and effective leveling of substrates in thicknesses ranging from 3 to 15 mm in one layer, or up to 50 mm when mixed with quartz sand. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, this product is ideal under all types of floor finishes, including epoxy coatings, parquet, ceramic tiles, PVC, and carpet coverings.

Applications:

Surface Preparation:

• Ensure the substrate is clean, sound, dry, and free of loose particles.
• Porous substrates: Use GRIP A500 MULTI primer.
• Non-porous or dense substrates: Apply GRIP A936 XPRESS primer.
• Moisture-sensitive substrates: Use HYTEC E336 XTREM as per the technical guidelines.

Usage Instructions:

1. Pour 4.5 liters of water into a clean bucket. Gradually add the powder while mixing with a slow-speed mechanical mixer.
2. Let the mixture rest for 60-90 seconds to activate the chemical processes. Remix for 30 seconds.
3. Pour the material onto the prepared substrate and spread it evenly with a trowel or rake.
4. For thicker layers, mix the compound with quartz sand in a 30% ratio by weight.
