KOMBI STUCCO – Fast-Setting Plaster for Small Stucco Castings

KOMBI STUCCO is a specialized plaster designed for creating small stucco castings. Its quick-setting formula allows for demolding after just 1.5-2 hours. The product is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Application Method for KOMBI STUCCO:

Surface Preparation:

Ensure the substrate is strong, stable, non-absorbent but sufficiently rough, free from anti-adhesion layers (e.g., dust, cement laitance). Remove any paint residues. Substrates must be cured and free from shrinkage. Remove salt efflorescence through mechanical cleaning. Level out significant irregularities with leveling plaster. For porous substrates, apply a primer like BUDOGRUNT ZG/WG and allow it to set for approximately 3 hours under optimal conditions (+20°C, 55% relative humidity).

Plaster Preparation and Application:

1. Gradually add 25 kg of dry plaster to approximately 8.0 liters of clean, cold water.
2. Mix thoroughly using a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mass free of lumps is obtained. Pour the mixture immediately into the mold.
3. Avoid excessive mixing to prevent air entrapment, which could reduce strength.
4. Prepare only as much material as can be used within 5-10 minutes.
5. For better results, compact the plaster by vibrating the mold to remove air bubbles.
6. Demold the casting after 1.5-2 hours and allow it to dry evenly on wooden racks.

Recommendations:

• Avoid accelerating the drying process by exposing to sunlight or wind.
• Mechanically secure profiles to the substrate.
• Clean tools with warm water immediately after use.

Seasoning:

Allow 1 day of drying per millimeter of thickness before painting. Apply highly diffusive coatings such as CALSILIT F, NOVALIT F, or ARMASIL F.

• Composition: Cement blends, mineral fillers, and modifying agents.
• Application Temperature: +5°C to +30°C.
• Color: White.
• Grain Size: Up to 0.8 mm.
• Working Time: Approximately 10-15 minutes after mixing with water.
• Setting Time: About 1.5-2 hours (+20°C, 65% relative humidity).
• Mixing Ratio: Approx. 8.0 liters of water per 25 kg of plaster.
• Dry Density: Approx. 1450 kg/m³.
• Compressive Strength: Category CS IV.
• Water Absorption (Capillary): Category Wc0.
• Water Vapor Permeability Coefficient: μ ≤ 20.
• Packaging: 25 kg paper bags.
• Storage: Store in original sealed packaging in dry conditions at +5°C to +25°C. Protect from moisture.
• Shelf Life: 6 months from the production date stated on the packaging.
